Relative Contraindications are:
- Metal implants near the treatment area
- Pacemaker or defi brillator
- Active cancer
- Pregnancy
- Active acne outbreaks or skin infections
- If you have botox or fi ller, it is best to wait 2-4 weeks as the heat can denature proteins.
- Dental implants with fi llings can make the treatment area a little more tingly but using gauze can help reduce that feeling.
How to Prepare for Your Emface Treatment?
- Drink plenty of water prior to your treatment. The more hydrated you are the better the treatment outcome and comfort.
- Remove makeup prior to the treatment.
- Avoid NSAIDs (Advil, Ibuprofen, etc) just prior to treatment and for two weeks afterwards.
